In 2005 Allison and I spent 6 months living in Key Largo, Florida while I was working on a runway project for the Corps of Engineers in Homestead, FL. If you haven't ever been to Key Largo let me just tell you that it's not what you expect. It's somewhat run down and there is nothing to do unless you fish or boat. Well we didn't have the $$$ to buy a boat so we bought the next to best thing...a canoe and a trolling motor. We spent hours out in the bay trolling around. I would fish, Al would read, and when the sun would set we would take pictures. This is where I really go in to photography. To this day, the money we spent on the canoe and trolling motor is by far the best money we've ever spent. KLF forever, right babe! ;) Hope you all enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed photographing them.
