Lamp for photographing badges for ebay?
I need a cheap lamp to use when photographing small badges for sale on ebay. I bought a cheap 28 pcs LED (I dont know what that means in terms of wattage equivalent) one but too blue and not enough light.
I have an old 100 Watt lamp which is OK but ready to crack up. What should I replace it with in terms of LED ?
Is there a chart showing equivalents of Wattage in old, energy efficient and LED lights ?

In most cases unless you expect a big turnround in these photographs your best bet is to take them in daylight, with small badges I would suggest a well lit window sill.
This has several advantages, first it’s free! secondly natural light will give you much better colour rendition than the types of lamp you have tried.
If you are expecting to be doing this sort of work a lot, then your best bet is to make up a small apparatus with a desk lamp about 18 inches away from the badge and a reflector (white card) the same distance on the other side of the badge both at 45 degrees to the base, this will give you a standard set up for your work.
A 100 watt bulb, (you can get one colour balanced if you wish, but a slight red cast from a an ordinary tunsten bulb is acceptable or can easily be removed) would be ideal because a small aperture will give you a greater depth of field which is much less in close-up photography.
