Purchasing a reputable brand can lessen or even eliminate this motion blurring altogether.
The viewing angle of the screen should also be taken into account. High viewing angle simply means that you can view the TV at different angles and still get a great picture. Smaller more portable models will usually only be viewed by one person at a time so viewing angle is not as crucial. For larger portable battery operated TV’s that more than one person is going to be viewing at a time viewing angle is a more critical deciding factor. A common size that you will see in battery operated TVs is the 7 inch model. With a high resolution and brightness you can get quite a good quality picture on these models The brighter the screen the better the picture viewing will be in brightly lit areas. Also check the resolution as the higher the resolution the better quality picture you will get.
Other things you might like to consider before making your purchase is the length of time between battery changes or charges. Battery operated TVs that run on standard batteries may not come with a battery charger so you may need to purchase one of those as well. Being able to charge it up in the car is handy as well so check to see if it comes with a 12 volt charger.
Miniaturisation of technology can also be life saving during times of natural disaster. Portable radios have been in every household emergency kit for many years now but now it’s possible to have a battery operated tv as well.
Without a portable TV you won’t be able to get the crucial information that will broadcast over TV signals in a national emergency. Make sure you get a model that runs on disposable batteries. It’s no good having one that runs on lithium when the battery goes flat and you have no mains power to recharge it.
