Is there any way to winter my Begonias?
I have some really nice ones. I never thought you could but last spring I bought a disk like thing from a lawn and dog food store and it was a Begonia apparently in a dormant stage.
It grew into a plant though it took all year to develop. Its on my window sill but I still have more outside I would like to save before the frost. I keep other roots and bulbs in my basement. Can I also save the Begonias some how?

you are not saying if they are tuberous or bedding???? i wouldn’t mess with the bedding, but the canes and others are certainly worth saving…..keep them very cool…don’t ever overwater begonias and don’t worry if they start losing their foliage…as long as you can keep the plant alive….try using some inexpensive gro lights….buy the cheapest flourescent tubing fixture and use a gro light instead of the flourescent…you will be in business. I think begonias might be my very favorite, but now I am in south
Texas and the winds are too high and it is too hot…
