Hi I have a 96 Z28 with a flashing service engine light any advice? Feels like its running a little rough?
I belive the flashing light is for engine misfire and the car does run a little rough but still feels like it has all power. Is it dangerous to drive a mile to work?
be gentle with it, got to autozone, or advanced and have them do a OBD reading, they will tell you what it is, then you can go from there.
if its misfiring, you could have bad gas, bad plug, bad wire, fuel starvation, bad coils/distributer etc etc etc… egr, O2 sys… list goes on and on…
have it checked and go from there, drive as little as possible with it!
