the buds of my double impatients keep falling of the plant. Whats the reason?.The leaves are green?
Its been 4 weeks since I planted this plant.leave keep falling off of the plant.Iam in southern cal.The leaves look healthy and fine.whats the problem.I am planning to plant it somewhere else
Might still be in shock, are you growing it in the same light conditions as the place your purchased it? Impatients like a lot of shade and the double impatients can tolerate the lowest amount of sunlight, just a few hours of sunlight each morning will keep them happy. Also its been a month you might want to use a liquid fertiziler on them, whether it be Peters or Miracle Grow they might want a bite to eat… lol!!
Another thing to look for is to make sure no nasty bug is eating them as well… Grasshoppers, worms just to name a couple like to eat the flowers off plants, and bugs sometimes come out at night like snails who eat flowers while your sleeping. There could be numerous reasons, but I would go with shock being the cause first and location. Hope this helps!
