What Is The Stigma Of Online Dating
Online dating is more popular now than ever. Its all over my head. I am in my late thirties and happily married. I enjoy the stories from single world and happy I am not part of it anymore.
Girls and hooking up is the main goal. They get lucky at friends events and concerts or clubs. 40, the dreaded age to reach and still be single. They thought they would be settled at 40. How could they have let x and y go..too late. They had some great partners over the years. Thinking there was better things ahead, they ended many good relationships.
So many opportunities to meet people with amazing technologies. To sound old, in my day, you had a local pub, disco and the slow set. The slow set was a unique Irish thing, every disco had a slow section where you could ask a girl to dance and get a snog. Without any luck there, they might get lucky on the odd chance encounter. Matchmaking through online speed dating, facebook demographics, etc, etc. Perhaps too many choices make it hard.
Isn’t is amazing? The web is an amazing tool, are they using it. Perhaps they are using it and not saying. I wonder if they are being coy. Internet dating is established, no need to stigmatise it. Do people think there is shame in using the internet, it seems like that. I have no desire to be single, I am a happy man. Circumstances being different. My first choice would be using the internet. Considering the speed you can meet people, then playing the numbers help. Going to events with other single people gives more opportunity. A lot of wasted time too. Anything worth having took a bit of work
So, in summary, single friends, what are you waiting for?Since the moon landing nothing has been this big. Get the benefit from its use. Dont forget its a numbers game too. Be in it to win it.
