What type of lenses were these pictures taken with?

I know the focal lengths are there but I have no idea about them yet. Would photos similar to these be achievable with a standard 18-55mm lens?
Also if anyone could explain how focal lengths relate to lenses I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks

First lets talk about focal length. There are two types of lenses – zoom lens like the 18-55mm or any of combinations from one point to another, and then the fixed lens like just a simple 55 mm. Focal length deals on how far or wide you can take picture of – like using 28 to 35 mm are called wide angle lens; cause you can have it wider than the standard 55 – example – on a shot of group picture of a wedding, you would most likely use a wide angle or back up as far as possible so you can fit them all in the frame. Without a zoom lens, you will have to change lenses to get those shots; if you have a zoom lens with a wide angle to a little bit farther than a standard lens ( 18-55mm zoom lens) then you can just adjust the focal length without switching lenses. So you have your standard focal length (55mm), wide angle focal length (28 or 35 mm), and then you have your telephoto from past standard to higher over 55mm like 85, 100, 200, 300, and on and in between. Then you have your super close up called macro without using a telephoto lens but being able to come as close to the subject – usually around 1 inch – but that’s another lesson. So basically, FOCAL LENGTH is how wide you can have your shot to how close your subject/s on your composition – you can tell the differences logically by what you see in your LCD live view or eye piece.
Those pictures you posted can be achieve with almost any lens and camera. It is a matter of being able to adjust the APERTURE manually to achieved those kind of shots – they are in PORTRAIT and DEPTH OF FIELD / DOP of things to learn.
It was probably shot with the aperture of 2.8 or the lowest number for a standard 18-55 mm lens that is usually 3.5 – the lower the number the blurry the background gets. As you can see how clear the face which is the closest to the lens, and everything farther to that is blurry.
