Whats the High way speed limit in Florida and can you turn right on a red light at a road junction?
I live in the UK and have heard that you can turn right on a red light if the way is clear, although pedestrians have the right of way. Is this true and are there any other differences between US and UK driving? (other than the obvious, eg left and right hand drive)
The speed limit changes/fluctuates. Some highways in FL it’s 55mph, then even on the same highway just a little ways further it could be anywhere up to 70mph. Although people there either drive like their in the autobahn or following a snail. (Where I live the speed limit on the interstate is 75mph… woohoo). Of course FL is the retirement capitol of the country, so that would be too risky to all the elderly folks who can barely see to begin with.
About the right turning thing, that is correct here in the US.
